Fremdkörper (2020) — Digital possibilities of image processing pervert ideals of beauty into the unattainable. As a result, dissatisfaction with one's own body increases among many people who are repeatedly confronted with these body ideals. Frustration at the sight of one's own body is becoming an ever greater social problem and promotes mental illnesses such as eating disorders. The series »Fremdkörper« (Foreign body) portrays a formerly anorexic person and tries to describe her self-view and feelings inside with shots of her and contrasting nature shots.
