The landscape appears as a surrogate body—marked by openings, surfaces, growth, and vulnerability. Organic forms emerge in states of transition, oscillating between attraction and unease, familiarity and estrangement. Through shifts in scale and context, fragments of nature begin to resemble corporeal structures, while remaining irreducibly themselves. In »Fremdkörper« (Foreign Body), the photographic gaze follows these ambiguous correspondences, tracing moments in which the boundary between body and environment becomes uncertain. A field of associations unfolds, where perceptions of intimacy, otherness, and projection converge within the material presence of the natural world.
